How the Lodge of Hospitality No. 8325 collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us through this website.

Last updated: August 2026.

Who we are

This website is provided by the Lodge of Hospitality No. 8325, a Freemasons’ Lodge in the Province of Worcestershire under the United Grand Lodge of England, meeting at Northfield Masonic Hall, 641 Bristol Road South, Northfield, Birmingham B31 2JS. For any questions about this policy or your personal data, you can contact us at [email protected]. We are the “data controller” for the information collected through this site.

The information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us, and only what we need in order to help you:

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to manage guest and member accounts, and — only if you have asked us to — to send you news, updates and invitations to Lodge events. We rely on your consent, and on our legitimate interest in running the Lodge and responding to people who contact us, as our lawful bases for doing so. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we never share it for third-party marketing. Your details are seen only by the officers of the Lodge who need them to respond to you or administer your account. Where relevant to a membership enquiry, we may share your details within Freemasonry — for example with the Province of Worcestershire or the United Grand Lodge of England — and we use trusted service providers (such as our website host and form software) to operate this site on our behalf.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed to work properly. If you register or log in to the members’ area, we set cookies to keep you signed in and remember your display choices; these are removed or expire when you log out or after a short period. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, and we keep account information for as long as your account is active. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or securely dispose of it.

Your rights

Under data-protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To make any of these requests, please email us at [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
